Exclusive: USHL to Suspend Season in Response to Coronavirus Outbreak
Using my network of sources, I broke the story that the United States Hockey League was internally moving to suspend its season in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Overnight, it became one of the most viewed stories in The Forest Scout’s history, racking up over 1,500 views.
I subsequently updated the story throughout the day with breaking information confidentially provided by a diverse array of sources around the league. Twelve hours after publication, the USHL season was officially suspended.
